A Detroit towing company and its roadside assistance business are being sued by the state after a series of alleged fraudulent activities, tax evasion, and other crimes. Among other things, the state claims that the Fiore family, owners of Boulevard & Trumbull Towing and Emergency Road Response, tried to cheat the city by using their own towing company in emergency road response situations instead of using the state's rotation list as they are supposed to do.
